``Appearance ;;
Despite the bloodlines contradicting the notion, Tallhawk appears to be a ThunderClan cat on first glance. Time has given her the leaner, harder look of a cat without Twolegs, but the rest of her appearance she’s had since birth. It is her kittypet blood that blessed Tallhawk with a beautiful brown pelt with black tabby stripes that blends in so well with the forest. It is the cats of Twolegplace that gave her the beautiful white spot on her chin, all-seeing amber eyes, the black tip of her tail, as well as long and sturdy legs that carried her through nearly eight seasons of proving herself.
But there are flaws in her heritage. A look at her paws reveals soft, pink pads that survive on the forest floor, but are nothing on rougher terrain. A sweeping feel of her coat reveals how thin it is, breathable in Greenleaf but leaving her shivering in Leaf-bare. She will never have all the traits of a Clanborn warrior, but she has enough to prove herself worthy of a warrior’s title.

History
``History ;;
Gizmo prideful purr nearly shook her basket as her first litter took their first breaths. Three handsome toms and a single female, all perfect from their ears to their tail. But the joy contained hues of worry; Gizmo was a kittypet with a cruel Twoleg and he did not seem any friendlier towards the kits than he had been around their mother. When her owner stepped on and killed one of her sons, she swore to take her kits away. Their father promised that his owner would take the two tomkits, but urged Gizmo to look elsewhere to house their daughter.
Remembering stories from her mate of cats that lived away from Twolegs, she took her remaining kitten to the forest where a ThunderClan patrol found them. Luckily, their leader was on the patrol and he promised to care for the she-kit that Gizmo had called Hawk.
Nobody ever told the kit, renamed Tallkit, about her roots. She was raised as a Clan cat and only when she became Tallpaw was she told by the elders that she had been born a kittypet. When she confronted her mentor, the wise tom answered, “Yes, I know. Are you ready to hunt?” Though some cats mocked her kittypet roots, Tallpaw was a fine hunter and fighter who didn’t make waves in the Clan, so she became widely accepted. Her mentor, Blackear, proved her best supporter; the old warrior treated her exactly the same as the Clanborn apprentices.
On a solo hunting trip, Tallpaw found a brown-and-white tabby kittypet. She asked the she-cat to leave ThunderClan territory only to have the cat look over at her with her own eyes. The she-cat asked, “Hawk?” And mother and daughter were reunited. Tallpaw gave her mother her love, but the meeting was too quickly joined by Blackear. “I understand this is important to you both, but you must never meet again. The Clan will talk and we need no separation within our camp.” Both she-cats reluctantly agreed. That night, Blackear spoke with the leader with two requests.
The next day, Tallpaw became Tallhawk. The new warrior saw her mentor’s slight nod and her leader’s understanding gaze as he gave her the name and understood how much she owed the Clan that had taken her in. She spent that night in reflection, thanking StarClan for her good fortune. But despite this, not all remained peaceful. Some didn’t appreciate the qualities in Tallhawk that they interpreted as softness. They said that, though she was raised in ThunderClan as a kit, she had spent too much time as a kittypet.
The warrior turned to Blackear, on his way to becoming an elder, for advice. The old tom thought, then advised, “Take a mate. When the cats see you adding new warriors to the Clan, then the whispers should stop.” Her former mentor even talked to someone and the two agreed to mate, though it was more for convenience than affection. Now with kits, Tallhawk is still on warrior duties but taking it easy.
