A long-haired brown tabby tom with unusually long whiskers.
``Appearance ;;
Everything about Longwhisker is long. From his brown tabby fur to his tail, everything about him is at least slightly longer or taller than usual. Most notably are his distinctive white whiskers, which sweep down past his face and end at his shoulders. Though long whiskers are very useful, long fur isn't very practical in the wild without a twoleg to groom it for him. Though he is always the warmest cat in leaf-bare, the heat is even more unbearable in greenleaf. If RiverClanners pull him into water it takes hours to dry off, and in the hours that he is still wet he is uncomfortably waterlogged.
However, unless they have a really good grip on him, they won't be pulling him anywhere; he is a very muscular tom. Though Longwhisker can't take down a fox, he's still considerably more powerful than many of the toms in his clan. Because of his stronger build, he isn't fast, but that doesn't matter in a forest where stealth is important. This can be bad when fighting on WindClan territory, however, where there are few ways to utilize stealth and power.

History
``History ;;
Longkit was born alongside his brother, Stripekit, as one of the only two kits of Sedgetail and Dewfrost. The two kits were very proud and rambunctious, but Stripekit was always the first to make their mother pull her fur out. Their troublesome behavior would have gone on forever if it weren't for a fateful event- Stripekit's death.
As usual, Stripekit was up far past moonhigh, pestering his younger brother to go out of camp with him. They were almost apprentices, so the overconfident kit thought that he was ready to leave. Longkit might have gone with him if he weren't so sleepy, but he refused his offer and fell asleep against his mother's belly. He awoke when the Dawn Patrol returned, roused by the wails of his clanmates. Stripekit's body had been brought back to camp. It was likely that he faced off with a young adder, or cornered a rabbit twice as large as he was. Whatever the reason, Stripekit was dead- stricken down because of his pride. Since then, Longkit learned to control his emotions, if not a bit too much. He didn't want to end up like his poor brother.
He was apprenticed to a young and caring she-cat named Lightfeather, probably because his leader thought that an emotional mentor would be best for him. Though his mentor tried to bring his emotions back into the world, he was too stubborn to tell her- or anyone for that matter- anything. He did not want to be destroyed by grief, pride, or anything else that could hurt him. This aside, Lightfeather trained him well and he was given his warrior name Longwhisker right on time.
As a young warrior, Longwhisker remained just as stoic, maybe even more. His various clanmates have always joked about the emotionless Longwhisker, but always lightheartedly. He always brought back as much fresh-kill as the next cat and was always on time for his patrols. It was obvious that he at least attempted to care about his clan.
A few seasons after his warrior ceremony, he was given a young cat named Cedarpaw to mentor. He was given this tom because he suffered a great loss in his six moons of life. Both of his parents and his one sibling had died in a fox's raid on the nursery- and he wasn't taking it well. His previous mentor had only argued with him and tried to sympathize with him. Their leader thought that Longwhisker could teach him how to move on and control himself while making him feel as comfortable as possible.
At first, Cederpaw acted just like he did with his old mentor: unwilling to train, snapping whenever chastised, and apathetic. Longwhisker didn't let the tom get to him, though. Just like with everything else, he remained nonchalant on the outside- only this time, he cared on the inside. He was entrusted with this troubled apprentice's education and was determined not to let his clan down. He did not see him as a responsibility nor a duty to his clan, but as his son. He did everything in his power to mentor the young tom in not only the ways of loyalty and battle, but on how to control his emotions. Over time, after countless training, hunting, and bonding sessions, Cedarpaw grew to admire the way that Longwhisker never let anything get to him, and how he managed to be a loyal warrior despite his quirks. He was amazed when he saw a glimpse of pride mixed with a wistful sadness in his mentor's eyes as he received his warrior name: Cedarstripe.
Since then, Longwhisker has remained pretty much the same. His experience with Cedarstripe taught his clanmates of the kindness and good judgment that he was capable of. He is loyal to ShadowClan, and wouldn't give it up for all the prey in the world.

Nanaki silently padded through the Radiant Garden, having left the Pride Lands not too long ago. He regretted it slightly, but shook the feelings off whenever he felt them. 'You'll return, Nanaki, you just need to have a little reunion,' he'd tell himself. Indeed, he would return; Kovu's pride had been too kind for him to just leave, and even if the adults were horrible to him, he would return because of the cubs. They were always fascinated by him and his adventures, how he seemed a lion, but was instead a foreign creature, how he told stories of his past with such passion. He would return to the Pride Lands if his life depended on it, for the cubs.
But now, he needed to visit an old friend. It had been ages since he'd seen Cloud, and he had recently gotten word that he lived in a place called the Radiant Garden. Since then, he had said goodbye to Kovu and the lions and ventured off in search of this place. If what he heard was true, then he would finally be able to rest peacefully knowing that Cloud, and maybe the others, were safe. As he neared the Strife Residence, he sped up to a trot, eager to see Cloud again. He finally arrived at the door, and scratched on it. "Is anyone home?" he asked as he waited, hoping that his vocalization would inform the residents of who was scratching at their door.
