In one sentence; Crowpaw is a jet black bony tom with large ears and beautiful light-green eyes eyes.
``Appearance ;;
Crowpaw is smaller than most apprentices. His body length is only about ten inches long, not including his tail. His height is 9 1/2 inches tall, which is again small compared to average apprentices. Crowpaw is only a little larger than a kit, which he is sometimes mistakened as. His build is scrawny and he has little muscle. His body is very bony, especially where his ribs are. They always stick out no matter how much the tom eats.
Crowpaw's legs make up most of his height. They are long, lithe, and skinny. Near the paws his bones really stick out. The fur on his legs is very thin, so it is easy to see his pinkish skin underneath his black pelt.. His paws are also very small at the end of is legs, but at the end of his paws are long black claws.
Crowpaw's pelt is almost jet black all the way through, but he has patches of silver along his back. They are very hard to see and are usually thought of as a reflection of the sun. All along his back you can clearly see Crowpaw's spine running across. Also along the spine you can again see his skin. It is harder to see though than on his legs.
Crowpaw's head fits his body. Again the bones are very easily seen on his face. Near and around his eyes you can see a little of his pink skin. The most noticiable bone on his head is the one on his snout. It is clearly sticking out of his fur but it doesn't look bad.
Crowpaw's fur on his head is still black. But on his head between the ears is a line of silver that leads down to the back. Inside his ears he has silver fur. They line the insides for protection against dirt and bugs. Under his eyes are also a few splotches of silver but they are much harder to see.
Crowpaw has average sized ears. But they are a little bit more pointy than most. The insides of his ears are pink like the rest of his skin. On his ears are flecks of silver. This is the only place on his body bones are not noticeable.
The rest of Crowpaw's face is very average like many other cats. He has a regular size snout with a quite small black nose on the end. But what really defines Crowpaw is his large light-green eyes eyes. They have smudges of sea-green and gray in them as well.
Finally Crowpaw has a wonky leg due to a previous injury. His back leg is broken. Now it is stuck up in the air almost like he is running all the time or perched up on a tree. He can't move it at all. The fur is missing where the bone was cracked and it has never grown back since.

History
``History ;;
Crowkit was given birth to by a warrior of WindClan and a rogue. The warrior of MarshClan was a she-cat named Dawnflower. The rogue was Shade. Shade was a thief who stole a lot of prey from the MarshClan territories, leaving the Clan with a prey decrease. Shade wasn't the only rogue but he was the only one Crowkit knew about. One morning, Crowkit and his three siblings were birthed. Blackkit and Berrykit were his brothers while Nightkit was his sister. They all looked the same except for Crowkit. He was much smaller than the other three and he had patches of silver all around his black pelt. Blackkit was blind, Berrykit and Nightkit were average apprentices. They had no mutations or anything that might cause them to have a bad fate or not become a warrior. At that time Crowkit was the same.
One day news came that Shade and his bunch of rogues had been found. The Clan was attacking and Dawnflower was in tears. At this time Crowkit was three moons old. He could now see and he had bright green eyes. His siblings had dark green eyes, he was different again. Nothing was wrong with this though, only a simple coloring of eyes. Everytime Crowkit tried to ask Dawnflower what was wrong she would only hiss at the tom and tell him to keep it quiet. Only the will of StarClan let the queen keep her mouth shut.
Crowkit had almost became an apprentice when the news of Shade's death came. The four kits were starting to become rambuctious and wanting to leave the camp and explore. Nightkit spoke up that morning when Dawnflower left to go get prey for herself. "We should go on an adventure! Dawn hasn't even come yet and Dawnflower is the only one awake. We can sneak out through the dirtplace." All the siblings agreed almost immediatley. Smiling they walked out of the camp. After getting most of their fur ripped out by thorns they were outside. "Whoooah!" was all they managed to say. So they ventured off further to see what else there was around the territory.
Not far off into the territory Crowkit scented something weird. All the other kits must have scented it to since all their noses scrunched up in disgust. So they followed it until Cloudkit fell into a large hole. At this point they had no idea Blackkit was blind. Suddenly the heard snarling, a mewl, and a loud snap. They waited for Blackkit to come back out when they heard what sounded like a stick breaking reached their ears. A few moments later, they were greeted, not by their brother, but by a large russet fox. Growling it ran towards the kits who ran almost instantly. Crowkit and Nightkit were fast but Berrykit was much slower. Again the kits heard the same snapping sound, but they had gotten away. Or so they thought. Both their brothers had died.
Again the fox gave chase. It was much faster than the kits and quickly caught up. Crowkit turned, told Nightkit to continue running, and faced the fox. Hissing he pounced clumsily remembering watching the apprentices playing outside. He was in the air and felt like he was flying. Then his face hit the ground with a loud smack, then the fox was upon him. Crowkit turned just in time to see the fox's white teeth glistening in the now arriving dawn sun coming down towards him. Crowkit just barley escaped the teeth coming down on his neck or belly but instead they closed on his leg. It snapped almost in two, but barley stayed where it was. It was formed like he was perched up in a tree. Crowkit blacked out but not before seeing a pair of flying black forms going towards the fox.
apprenticeship;
Crowkit woke up to find himself laying in the medicine cat den. He could smell the herbs in medicine cat's store room. "What is that?" Crowkit mewed in pain. But he never did get a reply. He hadn't even recieved his apprentice ceremony. Oh well he thought to himself. He slept most of that moon while his leg was healing. He needed to be able to at least walk before having the ceremony.
Finally after a long moon of waiting Crowpaw had his ceremony. He was proud of himself, even though he would be a warrior. It was that day that Crowpaw learned that Nightkit and Dawnflower were the ones who had thrown themselves at the fox. Crowpaw mourned his sister, thinking that she had had a better future than he. But there was nothing he could do to undo what had happened. All he could do was protect the cats of WindClan from future happenings.

It was cold, a crisp frost was settling over the now crunchy grass that dotted the Marshclan territory. Dawn hadn't risen yet but it was nearing the time when the sun rose to warm the four clans. Inside the camp almost all the cats were sleeping, except for one: Crowpaw. His mind was reciting all the herbs he had just recently learned from Ilexflower, he needed to learn them all to become the greatest medicine cat he could be when he grew older. At the moment Crowpaw was a young time who was seven moons old. He was a cripple, his back leg screwed up from a fight with a fox. He could've become a warrior still but he chose to walk to path of a medicine cat.
Over night a few sprinkles of frost had grown on the toms thin black fur. It didn't keep him very warm during leaf-bare which was the time it was now. He scrunched up his nose and made his ears press against his head to try and make them warm again. It seemed the blood was frozen in the middle of his body and not reaching his head, legs, or butt. His was rolled in a ball of black fur trying to warm his pink skin that resided underneath his pelt. But it wasn't working. Cursing Crowpaw stood up letting the coldness fully engulf his body. Sniffling he walked out into camp.
Crowpaw could see the tip of the sun's dawn rays starting to lift into the sky but they had not quite arrived. Turning completley around he could see the moon still in the sky. But it was moving towards the horizon slow as a slug. Mentioning slug to himself Crowpaw grew suddenly hungry. Quietly he made his way to the fresh-kill pile. He picked the first thing he saw, a scrawny mouse. Just the perfect thing to warm the body, not. It hardly satiated Crowpaw's hunger but he ingnored it saving the rest of the small pile of prey for the elders, young kits, and queens. Crowpaw wasn't the only one in the camp. He never thought that,he was unlike some of the warriors in the clan.
Crowpaw only worried about the other cats. His own health didnt matter to him. He knew Ilexflower would do a good job taking care of him for the time being. That was one of the advantages of being a medicine cat apprentice. You worked with the one who took care of you.
Crowpaw just sat out in the middle of camp until dawn's rays finally did touch the earth. This reminded him of his mother who killed herself just to save Crowpaw's life. A fox killed her and all of Crowpaw's sister. Every morning brought pain to him, but that was one of the reasons he woke up so early; to say thanks to his mother and siblings for sparing his life. Crowpaw could hear rustling coming from inside the dens now and cats started to come out. Crowpaw just sat there as the leader ordered them on patrols and such. Waiting for Ilexflower to wake up, Crowpaw tiredly walked back into the medicine cat den.
